NEW YORK, November 29, 2007— New research from TNS Healthcare’s DiabetesDynamics USA™ shows that between July and September 2007 just over half of all patients taken off Avandia because of reported links to cardiac risk were switched to one of the new first-in-class anti-diabetic agents—Januvia, the first DDPIV inhibitor or Byetta, the first GLP-1 agonist—or to insulin. |
